What’s unique about you and your story?
Although I never defined myself as an entrepreneur growing up, I have been an entrepreneur my whole life. From buying and selling wholesale goods in middle school, to today where I have 5 patent pending products. Entrepreneurship isn’t about the money, it’s about proving that with hard work anything is possible.
What’s something that not many people know about you that has defined who you are today?
I think I would have taken a very different career route in life if it wasn’t for one thing in middle school. I played airsoft for fun and all my friends played too. I noticed everyone was buying these airsoft guns for a minimum of $30 each. One day when researching what airsoft gun I should get next, I noticed that I could buy them wholesale. I spent almost all my savings and bought 48 of them! I sold just about all of them in a few weeks and more than tripled my money. Every time I sold one I experienced a high, knowing that I made that possible. Since that moment, entrepreneurship has been my passion!
What’s been your favorite experience as a college student thus far?
My favorite experience thus far, is something that is currently ongoing. I’m currently in the first annual Entrepreneurship Lab at IU. Through this lab I was able to pitch my patent pending bicycle seat to a group of students who are looking for work experience. I will soon hire students to help me take my product to the next level. Since we are even given access to things like rapid prototyping, I know big things are to come over the next few months!
