You see them on the field, in the gym, and you may even have a class with them. From early morning practices to late nights at the stadium, they’re always there supporting your team, your school. They bleed your school’s colors.

They’re the pride of your university; the school’s secret weapon – the cheer team.

Beyond having killer spirit finger skills, these three women are founders, future lawyers, PR gurus, and just so happen to cheer on the side.

Kate Smallshaw, pictured in our header photo, is a student of Bond University and self-confessed nerd. Currently studying law, Kate can be seen cheering when she’s not hitting the books.

As the founder of the music and entertainment site Stage Right Secrets, Jacklyn Krol has already made her mark on the industry. This publicist in the making is a senior at Indiana University – Northwest, and spends her spare time cheering for the Redhawks.

New Orleans native Heather Underwood didn’t have to go far from home to cheer on her favorite team. As a junior at Tulane University, Heather is studying psychology with a minor in Spanish.
